NAHCON Seeks Extension for 2026 Hajj Season as Saudi Arabia Closes Data Capturing

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is seeking an extension for the 2026 Hajj season as Saudi Arabia has closed the data capturing window. Fatima Sanda Usara, the Deputy Director of Public Relations at NAHCON, informed the public that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia had closed the data capture window.

NAHCON is appealing to Saudi authorities for an extension to allow Nigerian pilgrims to complete their registration on the Nusuk Masar platform. The commission remains hopeful that their request will be favorably considered.

They assured the public that updated information will be provided soon. NAHCON urged the public to follow its verified channels for updates on the Hajj process.

The commission expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of stakeholders in working closely with Saudi authorities to ensure a smooth Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
