Adeleke’s Campaign Council Calls for Police Neutrality

The campaign council for Senator Kamorudeen Olaleru, representing the Osun West Senatorial District, has called on the Nigeria Police to ensure neutrality in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15 in Osun State. During a media briefing in Osogbo, Kolad Eluyera, a representative of the Accord Party, lamented the lack of visible police action against the alleged killers of a local party leader, which has raised concerns about the safety of citizens during the election period.

Olaleru emphasized the need for security agencies to remain professional and neutral, warning that police inaction could embolden criminal elements and political thugs. He urged the police to act decisively against crime, regardless of political affiliations, to ensure justice and security for the residents of Osun State.
