Unilever Nigeria Reports 26% Revenue Growth in Q1 2026

Unilever Nigeria PLC released its financial results for the first quarter ending March 31, 2026, reporting a revenue of N59.172 billion, which represents a growth of 25.96% compared to N46.975 billion in the same period of 2025. The company posted a profit after tax of N13.422 billion, marking a 24.82% increase from N10.753 billion in the previous year.

Tax payments for the current quarter amounted to N6.402 billion, up from N5.200 billion paid in the prior year. The gross profit was reported at N18.852 billion, with operating profit rising to N11.484 billion.

Financial income grew to N3.338 billion, while net financial income declined to N2.483 billion. Tobi Adeniyi, the Managing Director, commented that the results reflect the impact of strategic investments and improved market traction, emphasizing the company's commitment to delivering consistent revenue growth and maintaining competitiveness despite macroeconomic challenges.
