JAMB Releases First Batch of 2026 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on April 16, 2026. A total of 632,788 candidates participated in the examination conducted on Thursday.

Candidates can check their results by sending "utmeresult" via SMS to the numbers 55019 or 66019, using the phone number registered during the registration stage. JAMB's public advisor, Dr.

Fabian Benjamin, cautioned candidates against manipulating their results, emphasizing that any attempt to falsify results using electronic means will be treated as a serious criminal offense. Currently, two candidates are in custody for engaging in result falsification.

JAMB will continue to release results as they become available, and candidates are advised to print their results once they are accessible.
