JAMB Releases 632,788 UTME Results for 2026 Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of results for 632,788 candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which took place on April 16. The announcement was made on Friday, with a statement issued by spokesperson Fabian Benjamin.

Candidates can access their results by sending "utmeresult" via SMS to the numbers 55019 or 66019. JAMB indicated that an option to print result slips will be available at a later stage.

The board cautioned candidates against tampering with or falsifying results, emphasizing that such actions constitute serious criminal offenses. JAMB has already initiated enforcement actions, with two candidates currently in custody for engaging in result falsification using electronic means.

The board assured the public that the examination process is ongoing and that additional results will be released in phases.
