JAMB Releases Additional Results for 2026 UTME Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of more results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), bringing the total number of results released to 1,897,692. The examinations were conducted from April 16 to April 18, 2026.

According to a statement from JAMB's public communications advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, results for candidates who sat for the exams on April 17 and 18 are now available for viewing.

Candidates can check their results by sending "utmeresult" to the SMS numbers 55019 or 66019 using the phone numbers registered for the 2026 UTME. Earlier, JAMB had released 632,752 results for candidates who took the exam on April 16, 2026.

Approximately 2.2 million candidates are expected to participate in the 2026 UTME across 966 computer-based test centers nationwide. JAMB officials acknowledged that candidates faced various technical glitches during the examination but assured that these issues would be addressed, including scheduling new dates for those who could not sit for the exam.
