Abia North Stakeholders Back Otti's Re-election Bid

Stakeholders from Abia North, represented by the Alliance for Good Governance, convened at the Isieke Civic Centre in Ugwueke, Bende Local Government Area, to express their support for Governor Alex Otti's re-election. Prof Mkpa Mkpa, the group's Secretary and former Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, emphasized the importance of sustaining Otti's governance model beyond 2031.

The stakeholders resolved to engage in voter education, particularly targeting grassroots and youth demographics, urging them to resist inducements from opposing parties. They stressed the necessity of collective action to ensure Otti's second term, highlighting that good governance should be a priority for future leaders.

Former Minister Dr Uchechukwu Ogah and economist Urum Eke echoed the sentiment of mobilizing structures to prevent mediocrity in governance. The meeting concluded with a call for unity among Abians to support Otti's administration and its initiatives.
