ADC Confident of Defeating APC in 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed strong confidence in its ability to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general election, provided the electoral process is free and fair. Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC National Publicity Secretary, articulated this belief during an interview, asserting that the party is prepared to safeguard its votes against potential manipulation.

Abdullahi raised concerns about the integrity of the electoral process, indicating that the ADC is ready to confront any challenges posed by the APC, which he accused of attempting to manipulate election outcomes. He referenced comments made by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, regarding the Osun State governorship election, interpreting them as indicative of attempts to influence electoral results.

Abdullahi concluded that the ADC is strategically focused on not only winning votes but also ensuring their protection throughout the electoral process, asserting that the party has the edge as they approach the elections.
