ADC Names Bello Ambarura as Deputy Gov Candidate for 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State has announced the selection of Hon. Bello Isah Ambarura as its deputy governorship candidate for the upcoming 2027 governorship election.

This announcement was made in a statement on Monday by Hon. Lamir Aminu, the Caretaker Committee Publicity Secretary of the ADC.

Ambarura, who currently represents the Illela/Gwadabawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, will run alongside the party's governorship candidate, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan-Iya.

The ADC's decision to nominate Ambarura aligns with Section 187(1) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and follows extensive consultations regarding the leadership qualities necessary for effective governance in Sokoto State. Dan-Iya described Ambarura's nomination as a significant milestone in the party's preparations for the election, expressing confidence in the ADC's ability to provide dedicated leadership to the people of Sokoto State.

He commended the party leadership and stakeholders for their trust in Ambarura.
