Adelabu Mobilizes APC Executives for 2027 Governorship Bid

Adebayo Adelabu, a former Minister, is actively seeking support from APC ward executives across the 33 local government areas in Oyo State for his governorship ambition in the 2027 elections. On Wednesday, he addressed the APC ward executives at Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan, stressing the importance of strengthening the party's grassroots base to reclaim power.

Adelabu, who recently resigned from the federal government to pursue his governorship ambition, expressed confidence in securing the party's ticket and rejected any moves to impose a consensus candidate. He highlighted the critical role of ward executives in shaping policies and driving political support, urging party leaders to remain united and committed to the ideals of progress.

Adelabu promised that his administration would prioritize the welfare of the people and involve them in decision-making processes. He received commendations from APC leaders, including Isiaka Alimi and Wale Sanusi, who urged party members to support his gubernatorial ambition.
