Adelabu Mobilizes APC Executives for Oyo 2027 Race

Adebayo Adelabu, a former Minister, convened with All Progressives Congress (APC) ward executives from 33 local government areas in Oyo State on Wednesday to bolster grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 governorship elections. Adelabu, who recently resigned from the federal government to pursue his gubernatorial ambitions, formally declared his intent to contest during a meeting at the APC secretariat in Ibadan.

He expressed confidence in securing the party's ticket and rejected any attempts to impose a consensus candidate. Adelabu emphasized that grassroots members are essential to the party's success and that development cannot be achieved without active participation at the community level.

He urged party leaders to remain united and committed to APC ideals, stressing that victory in 2027 largely depends on effective mobilization at the ward level. Adelabu also promised to prioritize the welfare of party members and involve them in decision-making processes.
