Aduda Pledges to Strengthen APC in FCT, Backs Tinubu

Philip Aduda, a former senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has committed to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the region and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's agenda for the 2027 elections. During a declaration made to journalists in Abuja, alongside chairmen of six area councils who have aligned with the APC, Aduda emphasized the need to add value to the party and enhance its grassroots structures.

He attributed his decision to join the APC to a belief in the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu. Aduda commended the efforts of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike in developing Abuja and called for free and credible area council elections.

He noted that the APC's control over the six area councils reflects a significant impact in recent polls, contrasting with the previous influence of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Aduda expressed confidence in the APC's prospects for the next general elections and indicated he would consider returning to the Senate based on public demand.
