Philip Aduda Joins APC, Resigns from PDP Amid Crises

Philip Aduda, the former Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and a former minority leader during the 9th Senate, officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday. His transition to APC was disclosed in a statement where he expressed his commitment to ensuring victory for the party in the upcoming 2027 elections under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Aduda formally received the APC national chairman, Prof. Nentaw Goshw Yilwatda, during the event, which was accompanied by members of the national working committee.

His departure from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) was attributed to ongoing crises within the party, which he cited as a significant reason for his resignation.
