Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Urges APC Unity Ahead of 2027

On September 17, 2026, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State cautioned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against engaging in anti-party activities. This warning was issued during the inauguration of the Ondo State chapter of the City Boy Movement, where Aiyedatiwa was represented by the state APC Chairman, Babatunde Kolawole.

He stated that his administration would not tolerate any actions that could undermine the APC's prospects in the upcoming 2027 elections. Aiyedatiwa urged members to mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party's candidates in the presidential, National Assembly, and State House of Assembly elections.

The governor commended the leadership of the City Boy Movement, particularly its Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, for creating a platform for youth political participation. The movement's state Director, Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, outlined their immediate task of strengthening their structure to ensure effective grassroots mobilization.
