Akwa Ibom Commissioner Urges Monarchs for Voter Registration

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong, urged traditional rulers in the state to lead mobilization efforts for voter registration ahead of the 2027 general elections. Archibong emphasized the importance of active participation in the registration process to ensure democratic representation.

During a visit to the Akwa Ibom State Traditional Rulers Council, he stressed the role of monarchs as mobilizers for civic responsibility. Archibong commended the traditional rulers for their support of Governor Umo Eno's administration, highlighting their contribution to peace and stability in the state.
