2027: ‘Aliero, Bugudu Free To Contest Elective Positions,’ Says Kebbi Youth Group

The Kebbi Progressive Youth Assembly announced that Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Kebbi Central lawmaker Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero are free to contest elective positions in the state in 2027. The group condemned distractions allegedly aimed at preventing the political office holders from running for election.

They emphasized that the Senators have diligently served the state, with Bagudu overseeing the transformation of Kebbi into a rice production hub and Aliero laying the foundation for modern infrastructure in Birnin Kebbi. The group urged the youth to remain vigilant against attempts to destabilize the political landscape and called on aspiring candidates to openly join the race and let the people of Kebbi Central decide at the ballot box.

Governor Nasir Idris was praised for his harmonious working relationship with Bagudu and Aliero, which has led to peace and development in the state.
