2027: Amaechi Gives Condition To Help ADC Presidential Candidate Unseat Tinubu

Former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has set a condition to support the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in unseating President Bola Tinubu in 2027. Speaking at an event organized by X Space called Weekend Politics, Amaechi emphasized that he would fully back the ADC candidate only if they are dedicated to the campaign.

He also addressed claims that Tinubu played a significant role in President Muhammadu Buhari's election in 2015, stating that it was ultimately the Nigerian people and God who made Buhari president. Amaechi's remarks come amidst speculation about Tinubu's potential presidential bid in 2023, with Amaechi asserting that it is now the ADC's turn to challenge for the presidency.
