APC Announces Lagos Campaign Council for 2027 Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled the Lagos State Campaign Council in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The announcement was made through the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre, which represents Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the APC’s governorship candidate for Lagos State.
Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi will chair the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), while Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will lead the Advisory Council, with former Governors Babatunde Raji Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode serving as Co-Chairmen. Sanwo-Olu will also chair the campaign council, with Hamzat as Deputy Chairman.
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has been appointed as the Director-General of the Campaign Council, and Dr. Adekunle Olayinka will act as Campaign Secretary. The inauguration of the Lagos State Campaign Council is scheduled for September 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, to be held at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
Attendance from all council members is expected.
