APC-PCC's Yari Engages Northern Clerics for Support

Ahead of the 2027 general election, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), conducted consultative meetings with Muslim clerics across the North Central, North West, and North East geopolitical zones of Nigeria. The consultations began in Jos, Plateau State, and included visits to Kano, Kaduna, and Bauchi states.

Yari was accompanied by notable figures such as former Kano State governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former Kebbi State governor Senator Adamu Aliero, and others. The delegation sought the support of religious leaders for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.

In Bauchi, Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi prayed for Tinubu and emphasized the need for ongoing dialogue between the state and religious communities. In Kaduna, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau discussed national issues with Yari and urged leaders to communicate sincerely with the populace.

In Kano, Sheikh Qaribullahi Nasiru Kabara offered prayers for peace and unity in Nigeria.
