APC Forum Backs Yari for Tinubu's 2027 Campaign

The North-Central All Progressives Congress Forum has expressed strong support for Senator Abdulaziz Yari, the newly appointed Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, to lead President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign in 2027. In a statement released on Wednesday by the forum's chairman, Saleh Zazzaga, the group congratulated Yari and other appointees, James Faleke and Okpokwu Ogenyi, who were appointed as Deputy Director-General, Election Planning, Coordination and Monitoring, and North-Central Coordinator, respectively.

The forum emphasized that Yari's appointment was a strategic choice that would strengthen Tinubu's support base in the North and across the country. They praised Yari's political acceptance and leadership qualities, noting his extensive experience in party administration and grassroots mobilization through the Renewed Hope Network.

The forum called on APC stakeholders to support the campaign council to ensure Tinubu's victory in the upcoming elections.
