APC Announces 2027 Primaries Timetable and Costs

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a timetable for its primaries ahead of the 2027 elections, detailing the costs for nomination forms. The presidential nomination form is set at N100 million, while the governorship form costs N50 million.

The sale of forms will commence at the APC national secretariat on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and will conclude on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The schedule for the primaries includes the presidential elections on Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, 2026.

The House of Representatives primaries will take place on Monday, May 18, 2026, followed by the Senate primaries on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The state House of Assembly primaries are scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, and the governorship primaries will occur on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The costs for other nomination forms include N6 million for House Assembly, N10 million for House of Representatives, and N20 million for Senate.
