APC Sets Presidential Primaries for May 2026 at ₦100M

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the schedule for its presidential primaries, set to take place on May 15 and 16, 2026. The party has pegged the cost of the presidential nomination form at ₦100 million, which includes ₦30 million for expressing interest and ₦70 million for the nomination itself.

The sale of nomination forms will commence on April 25, 2026, and will close on May 4, 2026. Screening of aspirants is scheduled for May 6 to May 8, with results to be released on May 11, followed by an appeal period from May 12 to May 13.

The primaries for the House of Representatives, Senate, State House of Assembly, and governorship will occur from May 18 to May 23, 2026. The party has also indicated that it will grant concessions to female aspirants, youth, and persons living with disabilities, allowing them to pay 50% of the nomination fee.
