APC Remains Leading Party Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Tuesday in Lafia, Dr. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the party to beat in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

He made this assertion during a meeting with 20 stakeholders from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Eggon extraction, who expressed intentions to leave the APC. Jatau emphasized the importance of loyalty, unity, and teamwork among APC members to achieve a landslide victory in 2027.

He also called on residents to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule. Jatau highlighted the leadership qualities of Governor Sule and noted that the APC would ensure its success beyond 2027.

He disclosed that the party's chairman is set to receive official notifications regarding the defections, which he described as a significant opportunity for the APC.
