APC Leaders Seek Consensus Candidate for Nasarawa 2027

Senator Ahm Wadada, representing the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, revealed that leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State are collaborating to establish a consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 elections. This initiative aims to address disagreements among the party's governorship aspirants and ensure that the selected candidate receives the necessary support to represent the party effectively.

During a recent rally in Keffi, Wadada emphasized the importance of unity and commitment among party members, urging them to prioritize the state's interests over personal ambitions. He expressed gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Sule for his leadership and the support shown by various stakeholders, including members of the state assembly, who unanimously endorsed Wadada as the preferred successor.

The event was noted as one of the largest political gatherings in recent times, reflecting a growing acceptance of the governorship ambitions within the party across the 13 local government areas of the state.
