Rivers APC Chieftain Urges Tinubu to Appoint Wike

Princewill Dike, a chieftain of the Rivers State APC, has called on President Bola Tinubu to appoint former Governor Nyesom Wike as the Director General of the presidential campaign council for the 2027 general elections. Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday, Dike expressed confidence in Wike's ability to lead the campaign, emphasizing his political ingenuity and experience.

Dike highlighted Wike's previous successes in elections, asserting that his involvement would guarantee Tinubu's re-election. He praised Wike's extensive political network and his capability to mobilize resources without misappropriating campaign funds.

Dike also noted Wike's recent achievements in the Federal Capital Territory area council elections, where APC candidates won against PDP members. He described Wike as a "goal getter" and urged Tinubu to consider him for the role, underscoring the importance of Wike's leadership in the upcoming elections.
