Enugu Leaders Thank Tinubu for Federal Support in Abuja

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, accompanied by a diverse delegation, visited President Bola Tinubu in Abuja to express appreciation for the federal government's support and to discuss significant infrastructural projects. The delegation included notable figures such as the First Lady Nkechinyer Mbah, Deputy Governor Ifeanyi Ossai, former Senate President Ken Nnamani, and various traditional and religious leaders.

Governor Mbah highlighted the importance of the relationship between Enugu State and the federal government, citing Tinubu's commitment to addressing long-standing challenges in the region. Key projects mentioned included the reconstruction of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, and the establishment of a gas pipeline to connect Enugu to the national grid, which aims to transform the state into an energy hub.

Mbah also acknowledged Tinubu's previous visit to Enugu in January 2025, which marked a significant step in bridging political gaps and fostering collaboration across party lines.
