Bwala Urges Atiku to Support Tinubu for 2027 Elections

Daniel Bwala, a special adviser to President Bola Tinubu, advised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to support Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. During an interview with Symphony TV, Bwala discussed Atiku's current political strength and future chances, noting that Atiku has historically commanded votes across Nigeria, particularly in the Northwest.

However, Bwala pointed out that Atiku's influence in the North has weakened, especially following the 2023 elections where he lost in the Northeast. He highlighted the alignment of political figures such as Rabiu Kwankwaso and Peter Obi, which further diminishes Atiku's political strength.

Bwala expressed concern that Atiku may perform below expectations in future contests and suggested that he should consider supporting Tinubu to pursue his interests rather than running again. He emphasized that the 2023 elections represented Atiku's best opportunity to become president, and urged him to support Tinubu for a complete four-year term.
