Atiku Abubakar Launches Atiku Pulse Support Group

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), launched a grassroots political mobilization organization named Atiku Pulse in Abuja over the weekend. During the unveiling, he urged for enhanced mobilization of women to support his political vision.

Atiku highlighted the urgent need for a new direction in Nigeria, particularly in job creation and security, proposing massive recruitment into security agencies to tackle unemployment. His political ally, Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, attributed the nation's issues to a failure of leadership, stating that the current leaders are more self-serving than focused on the welfare of Nigerians.

Engr Nuhu Ajana, the convener and chief strategist of Atiku Pulse, outlined key areas the Atiku administration would address if elected, including economic revival, security restructuring, education, human capital development, national unity, and strengthening democratic institutions. The group aims to support Atiku's campaign with a membership base across Nigeria.
