Atiku Youth Bloc Backs Tinubu for 2027 Election

The youth mobilization group formerly aligned with Atiku Abubakar has announced its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 2027 re-election campaign, pledging to deliver 10 million votes. This declaration was made during a national inauguration ceremony themed "Connect Youth, Stabilize Future." Rowland Odih, a member of the Citi Boi Movement, stated that the group is shifting allegiance due to Tinubu's visible policies aimed at youth inclusion.

The group aims to consolidate youth participation in governance and support the administration's efforts to improve youth representation. Odih emphasized the need for long-term investments in infrastructure and highlighted the government's commitment to youth empowerment.

Ayodel Olawande, the Minister of Youth Development, described the gathering as part of efforts to strengthen youth involvement in national development. The event featured a symbolic handover of a flag representing the group's support for Tinubu's agenda, which seeks to engage young people in addressing national issues, including insecurity.
