Adamu Atiku Secures ADC Nomination for Senate Seat

Adamu Atiku has officially entered the political arena by obtaining the nomination form from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to contest for the Adamawa South senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Adamu, who is the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, announced his decision in a statement released on Friday.

He emphasized the importance of consulting with stakeholders and gaining support from constituents across the district. Adamu Atiku, a former commissioner in Adamawa State, expressed his commitment to representing the interests of the people in Adamawa South.

He described the purchase of the nomination form on Thursday as the official start of his political journey, driven by a desire to unite and progress the community. His father, Atiku Abubakar, remains a prominent figure in Nigeria's opposition politics and was a former presidential candidate.
