Atiku Abubakar Secures ADC Nomination for 2027 Elections

Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria, has officially obtained the presidential nomination receipt from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The ADC disclosed that the payment for the presidential nomination form, amounting to 90 million naira, was made on May 8, 2026.

Atiku is among the prominent figures within the ADC seeking the party's presidential ticket for the 2027 elections. Additionally, Moham Hayatu Deen, a former Minister of Transport, is also noted as an aspirant for the party's presidential nomination.

The ADC made the announcement regarding the receipt on a Saturday, confirming Atiku's commitment to contesting in the next presidential election.
