Abba Kabir Yusuf Joins APC, Strengthening Northern Politics

On a notable occasion in Kano, Abba Kabir Yusuf was officially received into the All Progressives Congress (APC), an event that underscored the consolidation of political power by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in northern Nigeria. The reception took place at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, where a large crowd, including traders, civil servants, and students, gathered to show support.

The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as attendees chanted and waved party flags. Vice President Shettima emphasized Kano's strategic importance in Nigeria's political landscape, stating that when Kano moves, Nigeria feels it.

Hope Uzodinma, the chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, described Yusuf's return to the APC as a homecoming that would strengthen the party's presence in Kano. Former national chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje declared that the APC in Kano is stronger than ever, highlighting the unity and renewed energy within the party following Yusuf's entrance.
