APC in Kano State Welcomes Governor Yusuf from NNPP in Major Political Move

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has welcomed Governor Yusuf from the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), along with 73 elected officials, including state assembly members and local government chairmen. The APC state secretary, Ibrahim Zakari Sarina, expressed hope for Governor Yusuf's alignment with the APC.

There are reports of factional clashes within the NNPP, with the faction chairman Ma'ud Eljibril demanding Governor Yusuf's formal resignation. The court has reportedly affirmed the legitimacy of Eljibril's faction within the NNPP.
