Bolarinwa Declares Candidacy for Kwara Governorship 2027

On a Tuesday, Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa officially declared his intention to run for the governorship of Kwara State in the 2027 elections during a rally in Ilorin. The event attracted a large crowd, with attendees showing their support through chants and traditional attire.

Bolarinwa expressed his determination to serve the people, highlighting his previous experience as a grassroots councillor and local government chairman. He emphasized the need for a people-centered government that prioritizes transparency and accountability.

His vision includes tackling insecurity, ensuring safety for lives and properties, and fostering peace and unity across communities. Bolarinwa called on party leaders and stakeholders to collaborate in building a stronger Kwara State.

Hon. Benjamin Issa, the former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, also spoke at the event, urging the people of Kwara North to rally behind Bolarinwa's candidacy.
