Kwara APC Endorses Bolarinwa for 2027 Governorship

A political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Kwara South Senatorial District has officially endorsed Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, the former state chairman of the party, as their candidate for the 2027 governorship election. This endorsement was announced during a separate meeting held in Offa, Kwara State, attended by leaders from various factions, including the APC Offa Solidar Movement and the APC Progress Network.

Princ Olubunmi Isioye, a leader of the APC Offa Solidar Movement, highlighted Bolarinwa's commitment to transforming leadership during a time when the state faces significant socio-economic challenges. Engin Shittu Muideen from the APC Progress Network described Bolarinwa as a unifier capable of mobilizing grassroots support.

The group dismissed calls to zone the governorship position, asserting that the APC constitution does not recognize such arrangements. They emphasized that every qualified member has the right to seek the mandate of the people.

Bolarinwa's supporters urged party members and stakeholders across the state to rally behind his candidacy for unity and sustainable development.
