NYA Urges Members to Contest 2027 Elections Nationwide

The National Youth Alliance (NYA) has called on its members throughout Nigeria and the diaspora to take decisive action by registering with the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and contesting elections in all constituencies for the upcoming 2027 general elections. This directive was issued by Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abba, who serves as the youth president, during a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

The statement, signed by Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, emphasized the importance of a strong presence in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to ensure a successful campaign. Ambassador Abba expressed optimism about the potential for victory, highlighting the ADP's grassroots support across Nigeria's 774 local government areas.

He urged members to meet the registration deadline and mobilize immediately, with a call for aspirants to submit their applications to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) within 48 hours.
