C’River Sports Commission Launches Support Group for Tinubu

On Friday, the Cross River State Sports Commission inaugurated a grassroots support group aimed at rallying support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in their re-election bid for 2027. The chairman of the sports commission, Lawrence Etta, commended the members for their commitment to grassroots mobilization, which he described as crucial for securing victory in the upcoming elections.

Etta reaffirmed the group's dedication to supporting Tinubu and Otu, highlighting the importance of policies aimed at stabilizing Nigeria's economy and empowering youth for long-term development. He urged members to remain focused and proactive in their efforts.

The event also saw the appointment of various officials, including Obi Akan as the Director General and Christina Eso as Secretary. The group aims to intensify efforts to promote government policies and strengthen the support base for Tinubu and Otu ahead of the next electoral cycle.
