Cross River APC Leaders Endorse Tinubu for 2027

During a high-level APC stakeholders meeting on Monday in Calabar, Cross River State, Governor Bassey Otu announced the endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 general elections, pledging to secure at least 1.5 million votes for him. The meeting included key figures such as Dr.

Betta Edu, the APC national women leader, and various representatives from youth and women groups. Governor Otu urged Tinubu to assist in reclaiming Cross River's oil wells and restoring the state’s full littoral status.

He called on the federal government to verify existing technical reports to validate the state’s oil production claims. The governor reiterated the importance of grassroots mobilization and voter education ahead of the elections, expressing confidence in the benefits of Tinubu's "Renewed Hope" agenda.

Dr. Edu highlighted the need for unity within the party and emphasized the importance of engaging local communities to ensure maximum voter turnout in support of Tinubu.
