Cross River Youth Endorse Tinubu and Otu for 2027

On a Monday in Calabar, youth from 18 local government areas in Cross River State formally endorsed Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC, and Bassey Otu for a second term as governor in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This endorsement was part of the activities marking the inauguration of the executive members of the local government coordinators of the Coalition of Cross River State Youth, led by Director General Etem Okimba.

Okimba emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization and political participation among young people, stating that the coalition aims to empower youth to take active roles in governance. He urged the youth to support the APC-led administration at both state and federal levels and to engage in peaceful political activities.

Elder Ita Agbor Edim described the gathering as a positive political development aimed at supporting the governor's performance and urged the youth to avoid violence and political intolerance.
