Fubara Supports Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

On Thursday, Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu's bid for re-election in 2027. Speaking at an open meeting of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt, Fubara urged Nigerians to support Tinubu, describing him as a dedicated patriot whose administration deserves to continue its work.

He highlighted the progress made under Tinubu's leadership, particularly in economic and infrastructural development, and noted ongoing projects aimed at enhancing the economy. Fubara called for stronger cooperation among stakeholders in southern Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of unity to foster peace and development.

The meeting brought together traditional rulers from the South-South, South-East, and South-West regions, including notable figures such as the Ooni of Ife and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, to discuss ways to strengthen unity and cooperation among traditional institutions in southern Nigeria.
