Cross River Vice Chairmen Support Otu, Tinubu for 2027

The Forum of Vice Chairmen of Local Government Councils in Cross River State has declared its support for Governor Bassey Otu and President Bola Tinubu in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. This declaration was made during a courtesy visit to Ededet Eyoma, the Federal Commissioner representing Cross River and Akwa Ibom states at the Federal Civil Service Commission, in Abuja.

Christina Eso, the head of the forum and Vice Chairman of Bakassi LGA, praised Eyoma’s appointment, calling it a perfect fit for his skills and experience in human capital development. She expressed confidence in his ability to exceed expectations in his role.

Ekuma Ngwu, the Forum Welfare Chairman and Vice Chairman of Biase LGA, reiterated their support for Otu and Tinubu, emphasizing the positive impact of the collaboration between state and federal governments. Eyoma acknowledged the forum's support and committed to working with relevant agencies to fulfill his responsibilities, urging Nigerians to support Tinubu and be patient with ongoing reforms.
