2027: Don’t consider Muslim-Muslim ticket – APC member tells Tinubu

APC member Dominic Alancha has advised President Bola Tinubu to avoid considering a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2027 general election. Alancha made this statement during an interview on the Politics Today program on Channels Television.

He emphasized that such a ticket would be a betrayal of the national covenant and could lead to polarization. Alancha also pointed out that a similar situation occurred in the 2023 general election, where many Christians felt disenfranchised due to the choice of running mates.

He urged President Tinubu to carefully consider his running mate for 2027 to avoid any distractions and ensure inclusivity. Alancha stressed the importance of upholding the values of the party's founding fathers and maintaining unity within the APC.
