Ekiti South APC Endorses Adaramodu for 2027 Senate Race

The Ekiti South chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially adopted Adeyemi Raphael Adaramodu as its consensus candidate for the upcoming 2027 senatorial election. This decision was made during a stakeholder meeting held on April 13, 2026, at the Senate office on Moshood Road, opposite Excel Sir Abiodun Aluko House, where overwhelming support for Adaramodu was expressed without dissent.

Adaramodu, who currently serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, represents Ekiti South in the Nigerian Senate. The endorsement was formalized through a letter addressed to the Ekiti State APC chairman and signed by various party executives and district chairmen, including Akindel Olusola and Clement Ojo.

The consensus candidate selection process involved extensive consultations with party leaders and members across wards and local government areas, aiming to unify the party and enhance its chances of victory in the upcoming elections.
