APC Ogun East Endorses Dapo Abiodun for 2027 Senate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun East has officially endorsed Governor Dapo Abiodun as the consensus candidate for the 2027 senatorial election. This decision was made during a caucus meeting held at the Adeola Odutola Hall in Ijebu Ode, which brought together a coalition of party leaders and grassroots representatives from across the district.

Key attendees included members of the Governor's Advisory Council, former local government chairmen, and past and present lawmakers. Notable figures such as former Ogun East Senator Lekan Mustapha and former Deputy Governor Gbenga Kaka expressed their support for Abiodun, emphasizing his track record and ability to represent the district effectively.

The endorsement was formalized through a communiqué, and it was noted that the party would collectively work to secure the nomination form for Abiodun. The event witnessed participation from 103 councillors across nine local governments in Ogun East, showcasing widespread backing for the governor's senatorial bid.
