El-Rufai Directs Supporters to Vote ADC in 2027 Elections

Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, has instructed his supporters to vote for candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the upcoming 2027 elections. This directive was communicated by Hafsat Baba, the North-West vice chairman of the ADC, during a coalition meeting of support groups loyal to El-Rufai in Kaduna State.

The directive encompasses all electoral levels, including presidential, governorship, National Assembly, and State House of Assembly elections across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna State. The meeting aimed to unify various support groups and enhance their political mobilization efforts.

Baba also mentioned plans to create a database of El-Rufai's supporters and maintain regular engagement to uphold his legacy in education, healthcare, and empowerment. Additionally, she raised concerns about insecurity in areas like Birnin Gwari, Giwa, and Millennium City, urging security agencies to protect residents and to act impartially, especially following the alleged arrest of over thirty of El-Rufai's supporters prior to the meeting.
