Ja’afaru Sani Resigns from ADC Ahead of 2027 Elections

Mallam Ja’afaru Ibrahim Sani, who served as the National Vice Chairman (North-West) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and is a 2027 Kaduna governorship aspirant, has announced his resignation from the party effective immediately. His resignation was communicated in a letter addressed to the ADC Chairman of Anchau Ward in Kubau Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State.

In the letter, Sani expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in various capacities, recalling his role as one of the founding members of the ADC in Kaduna State and the North-West. He did not specify a reason for his resignation.

Copies of the resignation letter were sent to the ADC National Chairman, North-West Zonal Chairman, and Kaduna State Chairman. This resignation occurs ahead of the 2027 general elections, as political parties in Kaduna are working to strengthen their structures and attract key political figures.

Sani's next political move is anticipated to draw attention, although his letter did not indicate any new party or platform he intends to join.
