2027 Election: ADC Mentions What'll Happen to Atiku, Obi, Amaechi When Party Finally Cedes Ticket

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has assured Nigerians that prominent political figures such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi will remain united within the party, regardless of who eventually secures the presidential ticket for the 2027 election. The party's Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Jackie Wayas, stated in an exclusive interview with Vanguard that internal debates are ongoing regarding the zoning of the presidential ticket and the adoption of an open primary system.

The ADC's priority is to address the current challenges facing the nation and prioritize national interests over personal ambitions. The party is also in the process of establishing a policy committee to design a governance blueprint, focusing on critical issues such as electoral reform and security.

The ADC aims to target 35 million voters in 2027, with confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure a smooth voter registration and Permanent Voter Card collection process.
