Nwanyanwu Accuses Tinubu Supporters of Election Manipulation

Dan Nwanyanwu, the chairman of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), made statements regarding the upcoming 2027 elections, accusing the All Progressives Congress (APC) and supporters of President Bola Tinubu of intending to manipulate the electoral process. Nwanyanwu rejected claims that the outcome of the presidential election had already been decided and emphasized that the opposition party would contest the elections vigorously.

He suggested that if the APC and Tinubu's supporters were determined to write results, he would provide them with pen and paper, asserting that the country would remain competitive and that the elections would not be predetermined. Nwanyanwu made these remarks during an appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today on Tuesday, as political activity heightened in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

He advised caution to Tinubu regarding excessive political maneuvers that could tarnish his public image and noted that individuals claiming to support the president were engaging in behavior that alienated the populace, potentially reducing support for Tinubu.
