Atiku Begins Structuring Campaign Team for 2027 Elections

Atiku, the presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has begun structuring his campaign team for the 2027 general elections. Phrank Shaibu, the Director of Strategic Communication for the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, stated in a statement dated September 26, 2026, that the list of appointments released so far is merely the first step in establishing a comprehensive national structure.

Ongoing consultations will lead to additional roles being announced as the campaign progresses. Shaibu reassured party loyalists who have not yet seen their names on any list that their contributions are valued.

The campaign plans to announce zonal and state structures, senior appointments, and organizational layers down to wards and polling units. Additionally, the campaign aims to develop a policy framework addressing interconnected national challenges, including cost of living, food security, security, energy, jobs, education, healthcare, and more, emphasizing a vision for a more affordable and opportunity-rich Nigeria.
