2027 Election: Is Atiku Dumping ADC Coalition? Key Aide Opens Up

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's key aide, Paul Ibe, has addressed rumors of Atiku potentially leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC) opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 election. Ibe confirmed Atiku's commitment to the ADC, stating that the former PDP chieftain has initiated the process of officially joining the party.

At a recent meeting at the Shehu Musa Yar Adua Centre in Abuja, Atiku, along with other political figures like Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi, gathered to present a united front under the ADC coalition platform. The ADC has seen a change in leadership, with Ralph Nwosu stepping aside and Senator David Mark and Governor Rauf Aregbesola taking on key roles.

Despite concerns about Atiku and Obi not formally joining the party yet, the ADC leadership remains optimistic about their eventual membership.
